Developed with all new technologies to make it lighter, faster and stiffer than ever, this is a wheel that's made for speed. The biggest change is the introduction of Mavic's new Maxtal alloy ISM 4D interspoke milling technology, which creates not only a lighter and stiffer rim, but also a wider one. This gives your favorite tire a wider stance and allows for more air volume, so you can ride faster and more comfortably before. The rim is also UST tubeless ready, and comes with rim strips and matching Mavic Crossmax Pulse tubeless tires for the perfect setup. And, thanks to Fore spoke drilling technology, that set up is oh so easy to achieve, since the spoke holes aren't drilled into the upper rim bridge-- so there's less of a change of a failed seal upon installation. The tires are fast rolling, with a perfect blend of speed, weight, and traction. The ITS-4 freehub system was chosen for its excellent performance, and exceptional durability. On the practical side, the hubs are compatible with 9mm and 15mm axles on the front, and 9x135, 12x135 and 12x142 axles in the rear--with all adapters included. The hubs are 6-bolt disc ready.
